When a flood needs more than cleanup
Some floods touch a single room. Others fill an entire lower level, soak furniture and stored belongings, reach electrical panels and HVAC equipment, and leave a property unusable. Flood damage restoration is the coordinated response to that second kind of event, where cleanup, contents, drying and rebuild all need to happen in the right order.
Mold PE Services handles these projects in Jericho, NY under a single plan. You deal with one coordinator who tracks every phase, so decisions about what to discard, what to clean and what to rebuild are made with the full picture in view.
Contents, systems and structure
Belongings are one of the hardest parts of a flood. We inventory affected items with photos, separate what can be cleaned from what cannot, and handle cleaning or disposal accordingly. Items of sentimental value get extra attention, and you make the final call on what stays.
We also look at building systems. Furnaces, water heaters, ductwork and electrical components that were submerged need evaluation by the appropriate licensed trades before they are used again. We flag these items early so repairs can be scheduled alongside structural work rather than holding it up.
From dry structure to finished home
Once the building is decontaminated and dried to verified levels, the rebuild phase begins. Insulation, drywall, flooring, cabinets, trim and paint are restored according to a written scope that you approve in advance. Each phase is documented so your flood insurance claim has a clear trail from loss to completion.
Restoration of this size can take weeks, and we are upfront about realistic timelines. What we can promise is consistent communication, careful work and a property that is safe, dry and livable when we hand it back.
